FAQ
Where does the data come from?
From each vendor’s own public pricing page. We save a snapshot, a person records the plan limits (verbatim where possible), and every vendor page links to the source and shows the date it was checked. 70 of 73 vendors are verified so far; the rest are labeled Unverified.
How often is it updated?
An automated check re-reads every pricing page weekly. Meaningful changes are reviewed by hand and added to the public change log and RSS feed.
Is it free?
Yes. The directory, comparisons, change log, JSON API and weekly newsletter are free. Pro ($6/mo, cancel anytime) adds same-day alerts and CSV/JSON exports with full history.
Do vendors pay to be listed or ranked?
No. Sponsorships are always labeled and can’t change data, gotchas or picks. Some “Try it” links may be affiliate links; they are disclosed next to the link.
What counts as a pricing change?
Price increases or cuts, free tiers removed, shrunk or added, plan sunsets, and pricing pages that move. Each entry links to the page it came from.
Can my AI agent use this?
Yes — see /llms.txt and the free JSON API with an OpenAPI spec. No key needed.
