Gotchas
- Commercial use on the free plan is new as of Oct 2026 (previously labelled hobby/non-profit)
- Team/Scale prices are under a live pricing test (Oct 2026): default (control) shows Team $39/mo annual ($46 monthly) and Scale $79/mo annual ($98 monthly); a test group sees Team $33 ($39) and Scale $67 ($83)

- · verificationUptimeRobot — Re-checked the 2026-10-24 ~18% increase. The pricing page is running a server-side price test (cookie ur_pd=control or variant). The default control group sees Team $39/mo annual ($46 monthly, $468/yr) and Scale $79/mo annual ($98 monthly, from $948/yr), matching our 2026-10-24 entry. The test group (about 3 in 8 fetches tonight) still sees the old prices: Team $33 ($39 monthly, $396/yr) and Scale $67 ($83 monthly, from $804/yr). Solo ($12 annual / $13 monthly) and Free are the same in both groups. Until the test settles, we treat the ~18% increase as provisional. source ↗

- · free tier detailUptimeRobot — Free plan is no longer limited to hobby/non-profit use: the pricing page now says "Good for personal and commercial projects" (was "Good for hobby and non-profit projects"). Still $0 with 50 monitors, 5-min interval and no card. Solo unchanged at $12/mo annual ($13 monthly). Note: repeated fetches tonight alternated between two Team/Scale price sets (Team $39 or $33/mo annual, Scale $79 or $67/mo annual), which looks like a pricing test, so we have not changed Team/Scale. The page also adds re-checks from a second data center before alerting and expiry-day SSL/domain alerts. source ↗
- · price test (possible increase)UptimeRobot — First seen 2026-10-24 as a ~18% rise on paid plans: Team $39→$46/mo (monthly) and $33→$39/mo (annual); Scale $83→$98/mo (monthly) and $67→$79/mo (annual); annual Team $396→$468/yr. Free plan unchanged in our snapshot. Requalified 2026-10-30: UptimeRobot is running a cookie-based price test, so some visitors still see the old prices (Team $33, Scale $67/mo annual). Team is $33–$39 and Scale $67–$79/mo annual depending on the group; the ~18% applies only if the test settles on the higher (control) prices. source ↗
